Hello! I love this! I was just wondering how you got that moon on there on weather? Please and thank you! And did you use Geektool?

Thank you. Yes, that is Geektool for weather. The moon is part of a geektool script for my weather at the time I took that screenshot. There are several weather scripts. The one I used is for Yahoo weather and can be found on this page: [link]

You have to input your zipcode to get weather for your area. The directions are fairly clear.

Now that I have updated to Lion, I don't use Geektool as much. Have fun with it though, and good luck!

this is probably a lame question but how do I get folders with custom icons onto my desktop? every time I add a folder to my desktop, the icon changes to a standard folder.

I can only answer this for Macs. If you aren't on a Mac, I can't help you.
For Macs:
1. Copy image that you want to use as your custom icon.
2. Click on the folder you want to change one time to select it.
3. Use the keystrokes <command I> which will open an information page about that folder.
4. Click the image at the top of the page for that icon and then <command P> to paste your copied custom icon into this folder information.
5. Close the info window and you should have a custom icon on your folder.

You can use this method to change any icon- applications, files, etc.

It won't change unless you go change it through this same process again, however any new folders added to the desktop will be the standard default folders. Just change them with the same process and you can have many different looks on your desktop.

Good luck and happy customizing.
